How Live Upgrades Work

Destined for Glory items are dynamic cards that improve based on real-world domestic league matches across the 2026/27 season, starting September 25. Progression depends entirely on specific milestones tied to player positions. For attacking assets, Opta tracks combined goals and assists; for instance, achieving three goals and three assists secures a bonus PlayStyle upgrade. On the other end of the pitch, defenders and goalkeepers earn credit toward their upgrades whenever their club secures a clean sheet, provided the player actually steps onto the pitch as a starter or substitute.

Keep in mind that real-world team changes will halt progress: if any featured player transfers to another club during the season, their item will no longer qualify for future boosts. Investing in steady performers on top-tier domestic sides offers the clearest path to long-term gains.

Gameplay Events and Ultimate Gauntlet

FUT players have multiple avenues to earn rewards throughout the celebration. You can participate in the long-range Exhibition with ten attempts permitted per day, unlocking packs and bonuses simply by inserting a campaign player into three matches.

Week two introduces the first Ultimate Gauntlet of the cycle. This two-round competition also provides ten daily attempts and challenges you to complete play-and-win objectives. Alongside these tournaments, two Rush events will drop during the promo, highlighted by a special Flash Rush competition in the second week.

Evolutions and Club Customization

Upgrading your squad is a major focal point of this event, thanks to free Evolutions distributed across both weeks, including a dedicated Training Camp Evolution in each week. For extra flexibility, taking on the Ultimate Gauntlet allows you to earn an Evolution consumable designed to duplicate a previous Evolution on a different player. Cosmetic Evolutions are also accessible, giving you the chance to unlock both standard and premium event badges through campaign objectives.
