Summer has arrived in Football Ultimate Team with the launch of Season 8 and the Festival of Football. Running from early June through late July, this massive update brings international excitement, major quality-of-life adjustments, and plenty of rewards to help you upgrade your squad for the warm months ahead.
Unlock and Upgrade Your Legend Pelé
Simply by logging into Ultimate Team during the event window, players can claim an impressive 93 OVR Festival of Football ICON Pelé alongside three distinct 'Choose Your Journey' Evolutions. As you progress, additional Pelé-exclusive upgrade paths will roll out, letting you channel his historic glory.
Completing every step of this journey pushes the iconic card all the way to a stellar 96 OVR rating, complete with maximum star ratings for both weak foot and skill moves, plus a powerful set of PlayStyles+ to dominate your matches.
Evolutions Overhaul and PlayStyle Lab
The update introduces major flexibility to squad building. Birthday Bakery tabs are making way for the new PlayStyle Lab, where eligible items can be upgraded without spending any Coins or FC Points, completely removing cooldown timers between uses.
Furthermore, a new rollback feature lets you fully reset player evolutions in your club, even restoring tradable items back to their original status. Keep an eye out for upcoming Evo Repeatables consumables to secure extra evolution entries as you customize your lineup.
Flexible Token System and Champions Rewards
Earning rewards is now more streamlined than ever thanks to Festival of Football Tokens. Gathered across various game modes to fit your preferred playstyle, these tokens let you choose the exact rewards you want, subject to a weekly earning cap.
Weekend League players will also benefit from new FUT Champions Tokens. These can be spent immediately on weekly prizes or saved up across multiple weekends for massive payouts, alongside traditional coin bonuses for your best competitive finishes.
